POWER LEVEL SYSTEM

Alright so we all know that Dragonball Z is all about strength, power, and who can blow up planets better. On CCI we do have a PL system but its a little different than most sites out there, we're going to be in what I call ALPHA phase of this system. So we''re all aware that DBZ characters have insane 10 digit PL's right? Well, I'm introducing a 'low digit power level' system, what I mean by this is that characters will not have 10 digit PL. Don't freak out, this doesn't mean that your character will never reach SSJ or form 2 for changeling. I'm keeping this short, simple, and straight to the point to prevent any confusion or frustrating misunderstanding.

For example, when Goku fought Frieza, the Changeling was over 1 MIL in power level, a little bit crazy (especially in a profile) so here on CCI that 1 mil PL would 'down grade' into about a 50,000 PL. Does this mean Frieza is weaker? Not at all, that 50K is equivalent to what he would be in the series, just without the insane amount of digits cluttering a profile. You may ask why I've decided to do it this well, well as mentioned before, its to make profiles look a little more tidy, neat, and organized. That, and to prevent bragging or e-peen stroking, another example would be the first battle between Vegeta and Goku, Vegeta was roughly at 18,000, so in our system it would be about half that but he would remain as strong as canonly stated.

Make sense now? Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly, all power levels will be stated in profiles and listed, edited when increased. It's not too complex.

But now you might ask "Well how do we increase our PL?" That's simple. Word count! Yes, a word count system, but again, not your typical word count system. If you type 10,000 words, you will not receive that in PL equivalency. No, we cut that in half, you type 10K, but only receive 5K. Why? For the most part, half of that will be fluff, details that don't pertain to the training at all, however in the case of multi-person threads, they will more than likely be judged based on full word count (combat posts are usually smaller, anyway). Any questions, just ask a staff! Also keep in mind, these are rough numbers and the system is in ALPHA phase, and changes will be made based on any issues that arise.

RESTRICTIONS

We all know there has to be restrictions right? Don't worry, there's not too many. To keep things balanced (and logical) we will have restricted starting PL based on race (more detail can be found in our PL requirement list). Saiyans MAX starting PL will be 1500, Namekians will be 1000, Changelings can start at 2500, and Humans will be restricted to 100. No, you cannot start as an Elite, a SSJ, Super Namek, or form 4 Changeling.
